The Wise always grow, and so, looking back, always think themselves fools.
Fools think themselves wise, and so, unchanging, fools they remain.

Me: Okay, let’s figure out what to text him.
She: Maybe something like ‘what are you up to?’
Me: Should I go into what I’m doing, where we are, see if he wants to come meet up?
She: I don’t know. Maybe just keep it simple. Or you could call!
Me: Oh, that’s true. Maybe I should call?
He: Wait, what are we talking about?
She: We’re figuring out what to text that boy.
He: Oh. Send him a picture of your boobs!

He: “Don’t go toward ‘being happy’. Go toward what excites you, what makes you feel alive.”
This has been running through my mind for a few days years now. I’ve been toying with working part of it into my next tattoo (uh, hi mom, sorry) but I’m letting the idea settle first.
(When I went to find this in my blog to link it above, I picked a random page number out of hundreds - and it was the right one on the first try. I love when stuff like that happens. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to spend the rest of the night overanalyzing if it’s a sign that I should and/or should not go with this idea.)
This feels a bit @paintyhands -ish. The images that this quote provides make my heart leap.
